Hey everyone, it's your MIA mod [livejournal.com profile] arobynsung- and on that note major applause for [livejournal.com profile] swissmarg for holding it down!
Would y'all be interested in another low low pressure mini-fest?

As a refresher and info for new members:
The rules for prompting and submitting.

It was fun last year and I'd like to see more submissions year. Interested?

Last Year's Masterlist:
ART: Cherry Red Romance (Dean/Kingsley); by [livejournal.com profile] vividescent
FIC: Croissants and Coffee (Blaise/Kingsley) by [livejournal.com profile] atdelphi
FIC: Authorised Negotiations (Kingsley/Draco) by [livejournal.com profile] alisanne
FIC: Obstacles (Blaise/Neville) by [livejournal.com profile] rebecca_selene
FIC: Pay No Attention To The Man Behind The Curtain (Dean Thomas, gen) by [livejournal.com profile] librasmile

So last time I checked in, it seemed that there was at least some interest in a fest and that the preference would be for sometime this year.
Something small; in respect to commitments to the other fests/exchanges going around, minimum 300 words, maximum 1500 words and the art equivalent of that, of course. Members would submit prompts and claim the prompts they'd like to write for.
Now that we've turned over a new year, the timeline question arises once more:

The poll asks for when you'd like your submission due date to be. This is of course different from the prompting period and the actual posting period. Assume a two or three week writing period (all written submissions only have to be more than 300 words). Basically, if you select February, prompting starts in mid-January, and so on on so forth.

We've established there's some interest in the prompt fest, so let's talk time, since that seems to be the biggest obstacle for most people. [Poll #1637666]

How would you feel about a [community profile] hp_diversity prompt fest?
Something small; in respect to commitments to the other fests/exchanges going around, minimum 300 words, maximum 1500 words and the art equivalent of that, of course. Members would submit prompts and pick the prompts they'd like to write for.

So...interested?

Whether or not prompting is an intent to participate hasn't been decided yet.
Opinions/feedback/suggestions are welcome.

I feel like I should make a loud noise to make sure everyone's awake and alert.

Anyway, this is an open forum suggestion post.

Do you have a suggestion for a challenge?

What should we do to increase activity?

Anything else you'd like to say?

Please comment with any feedback/suggestions/commentary you feel is pertinent to increasing participation and activity in the comm. I'd really hate [livejournal.com profile] hp_diversity to go the tumbleweed way so please, anything you'd like to point out, go for it!

I encourage any discussion within the comment threads, just keep it civil.
