Wow, over half the year gone already, but the summer's just heating up in the northern hemisphere. Here are some ideas for getting hot with characters of color over the next month:
- There's still time to squeeze in a prompt or two for the Original Character Challenge at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
hpchallengefest before prompting closes on 2 July 2014. The original characters must be shown interacting with a canon character, so how about Cho's Muggle husband? One of Mrs Zabini's husbands? Or someone who Dean ran into while he was on the run from the Snatchers? Sign-ups/claiming will then begin on 4 July 2014.
- Prompting will begin for the HP Sexstars Fest athp_sexstars on 5 July 2014 and run until 19 July 2014. All pairings must be slash, but beyond that, anything goes.
- 5 July 2014 is also the last day to post wishlists for the Summer Wishlist Event atrarepair_shorts. Rare pairings only, which is perfect for Angelina/Katie, Kingsley/Remus or Harry/the waitress at Treats from the HBP movie!
- Prompting is open for the Halloween Fest athp_creatures until 15 July 2014. Now is your chance to request werewolf!Dean, Veela!Cho, or Parvati/Bane.
- Prompting is open for the Hermione Smut Fest athermione_smut until 15 July 2014. You can pair Hermione with anyone you want, such as Hermione/Blaise, Hermione/Parvati, or Hermione/Kingsley.
- Prompting is open for the HP Cross Gen Fest athp_crossgenfest until 15 July 2014. There must be at least a 10-year age difference, which easily qualifies Mrs Zabini/Draco, Aurora/Tonks, or Lee/Fred Jr.
- Claiming is open for Samhain Smut atsamhain_smut until 15 July 2014. Here are just a few of the prompts featuring characters of color. There are a lot more though, so do have a browse!
