60. Prompt: The war is over and the light side has won, but not without its own losses. While trying to come to terms with everything that happened and the lives that she took, Hermione is bombarded by the press and well-wishers, you can even include her friends/the Weasleys needing help dealing with their own losses, but it’s not necessary. Feeling overwhelmed by everything around her in England, she leaves; this can either be fairly soon after the war or months or a year or so after the war, it’s all a matter of how long she can handle everything around her before she feels like she’s going to crack. This is one place where having to deal with the mental scarring from war will play a role. Have her guy help her come to terms with what happened; maybe she can help him, too. Their return to England is left up to you, do they return at all, do they return for a little while so that their family and friends know they’re alive and whole again, or does she and her beau return for good?

Ideally, this would be either a Bill, Blaise, or Charlie fic, depending on which country you send her to. If you choose Bill and Egypt, yes he was still attacked by Greyback, but he returns to his post as a curse breaker in Egypt after the war (see comment in pairing section about his relationship with Fleur), and Hermione works to become a curse breaker, too. If you choose Blaise, she ends up in Italy. What she does with her life there, I leave up to you. As for Blaise, I’m thinking either he works for the Ministry in International Cooperation working with the Italian Ministry or he returns to work in the family business. How do they get past their house rivalries? Were they Heads together? If you choose Charlie and Romania, have fun with what the reserve looks like (do they live in tents, barracks, houses, etc.) and what Hermione does there (keeper, healer, working in the Magical town near the reserve, doesn’t matter), but please the name is Romanian Longhorn Dragon Reservation. 61. Prompt: Hermione's been working at the Ministry since she sat her N.E.W.T.s after the war ended over 6 years ago. She realizes that her life has become monotonous. She’s been in the same position since she started (it can either be entry level or a mid level position that she was given because of either her grades or who she was, it does NOT have to be the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures) and add that to her on again off again relationship with Ron (of course with more fighting than actual relationship), it’s starting to take a toll on her. Hermione soon realizes what is happening to her, but before she can take control of her own life, her life is turned upside down by the reappearance of someone(s) from her past.
I would like to see Hermione with either Oliver Wood or one of the Slytherins, or any combination of those guys. She of course leaves her job at the Ministry, because honestly, who would want to stay there in a dead-end job? What does she do next? She could start her own business (potions), work for his Quidditch team (Arithmancy), become a Healer at St. Mungo’s, or even work at the place of business of her counterpart(s) (this would be if it was Blaise, Draco, or Theo). She could also be with Adrian and work for Draco, or be with Blaise and work at St. Mungo’s, it could even be Oliver and she starts her own Apothecary. It honestly doesn’t matter whom she’s with or what she does, as long as she quits the Ministry and does NOT work in or own a bookstore. Have fun!
