Art: Flappers (Lavender/Pansy, G)

Title: Flappers (I lacked inspiration, okay)
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] nearlyconscious
Characters/Pairing: Lavender/Pansy
Rating: G
Contains: flappers!AU, joyful dancing
Artist's Notes: As I've explained precedently, I always draw Lavender as a POC since she was cast as a POC when she had no dialogue in the first few movies (as much as I love Jessie Cave and her portrayal of Lavender, I consider the fact that the character suddenly became white when she got dialogue to be gross whitewashing).

Awesome! I love the motion and gaiety (in the classical sense) in this!

Also: I have now added character and ship tags for Lavender. :)

This is lovely! Makes me want to jump up from my desk and do a little Charleston myself.

Love the shoes... oh who am I kidding... there's numerous little details that keep catching my eye and all together it's just gorgeous.

Joyous! And I love how they each have their own color scheme at the same time their bodies move together. Enjoyed! M.

P.S. And I completely agree with you about the movie casting issues.

Lovely! Lavender's expression is particularly wonderful.

A lovely piece! The two color schemes work great, and the differences in person are clear even with the similar pose.

Lovely job.
