November Diversity Pimping Post

The days are getting shorter, but that doesn't mean there's a shortage of ways to inject a little color into the fandom. Here's a sampling of what's going on this month:

- Prompting begins today, 8 November, for the Pissed Potter Ficathon drunk writing extravaganza at pissed_potter, with the actual writing (and drinking) taking place on Saturday, 15 November. Just think what Lee, Angelina, and Fred II are getting up to!

- Prompting ends for the Valentine's Fest at hprare_cliche on 10 November, and claiming begins on 15 November. All rare pairs are eligible, which fortuitously means any pairing with a character of color!

- The Autumn Draboodle Challenge is running at hpsapphicappeal until 10 November. There's still time to grab one of the tables and write some femmeslash drabbles... maybe with Parvati/Hermione or Aurora/Minerva?

- Prompting ends for the Salt and Pepper Fest at hp_goldenage on 15 November and claiming begins on 17 November. Any prompts for characers over 50, so how about some Kingsley/Moody or Mrs Zabini/Dumbledore action?

- Prompting begins for the HP Deflower Fest at hp_deflower on 15 November and continues until 30 December. Who's losing their virginity to whom? Roxanne/Scorpius, Cho/Marietta, or Blaise/Theo?

- Femmeslash authors and artists are welcome to offer up their works for remixing at femslash_remix until 16 November, and anyone can claim them from 17 - 30 November.

- Bathilda Bagshot's Bingo is running at hp_goldenage until the end of the year. Any character over 50 is eligible, so that could easily include Kingsley, Aurora, or Mrs Zabini... and you can also write about Blaise at 60, Parvati turning 75, or Roxanne just hitting her groove at the half-century mark.

- And as ever, check out the weekly prompts every Tuesday at hp_het_taboo to get inspired for any het pairings involving taboos such as incest, age gaps, kinks, or infidelity. Mrs Zabini/Draco, Roxanne/Louis, or Angelina/Fred/George would all fit.

- Weekly slash prompts are also available every Saturday at hogwarts365 and het/gen prompts are posted every Monday at hp_hetgen.

Thanks for mentioning hp_goldenage. We're definitely looking for more prompts, as well as Bingo and Fest participants, and would love to see a wide variety of HP characters represented!
